Rev. Leila Sesmero, a licensed Interfaith Minister, was ordained in 2005 by The New Seminary, a professional institute based in New York City which trains Interfaith Ministers. She was previously ordained by Thich Naht Hahn, a Zen Buddhist monk, founder of the famous French spiritual community, Plum Village. In 1998 she received the Zen Buddhist transmission of the Five Mindfulness trainings at Omega Institute, Rhinebeck, New York after having stayed at the monastery in France for a while. Thich Naht Hahn, named her "Creative Support of the Heart" at the ceremony, which is today the anchor of her spiritual counseling.
